Temporary employment contract – what does it mean?

A temporary employment contract, by definition, is for a specific period of time to perform work. The ródifference between this type of contract and an employment contract involves a different contracting entity. In this case, it will not be a contract between the employee and the employer, but between the user employer the employee and the temporary employment agency. Therefore, it will be a tróional relationship. The employee is directly employed by the temporary employment agency, while the work is performed for the employer.

What does a temporary employment contract mean for the employee?

In this type of contract, all personnel and administrative matters rest with the agency. It is the agency that pays the salary, pays contributions, and accounts for overtime. Such a contract is always concluded for a fixed period of time and specifies exactly how long an employee can work for one user employer. According to the regulationsów, a temporary employment agency can refer an employee to work for one employer for a maximum of 18 months in a consecutive 36-month period.
